Third Friday Workshop:
"Succulents That Don't Suck"
Donation Class for Owen Pax Memorial Fund
Friday,June 17th, 6–9pm

from 45.00

Join us for a fun evening of stitching up a trio of felt cacti and succulents.  During the workshop you will learn how to cut, sew, and create three different plants to make your own water-free felt garden.  All supplies will be provided, including 100% wool felt, embroidery floss, needle, thread, styrofoam and planter!  You will also go home with a pattern to grow your garden. Sewing experience is not required, but might be helpful. There will also be cacti themed refreshments (think Prickly Pear Margaritas!) and other snackies!!

The profits from this class will be donated to the Owen Pax Memorial Fund. Owen Pax was the son of DIME Store artist Caitlin Crawford of Austin Street Apothecary. Caitlin and her husband Clint lost Owen to a virus when Caitlin was 30 weeks pregnant. Participants of the class can add on an additional $20 donation during sign up, or donations can be made directly here.

This class takes place at the DIME Store, 510 S. Locust on Friday, June 17th from 6pm-9pm.

This class is taught by the DIME Store co-owner Shelley of Home Again, Home Again.

Cancellation policy: A 50% refund is available for reservations cancelled 48 + hours before the event. No refund is available for reservations canceled within 48 hours of the workshop.
