Join us for another fun crochet workshop on Tuesday, July 16th from 6-8pm.

Want to take your crocheting to the next level? During this workshop, local fiber artist, Shelly Diaz, will walk us through the basics of crocheting a granny square. We will learn how to change yarn colors, how to add borders, and how to piece your granny squares together. Tools and yarn will be provided and students will leave with a wealth of knowledge on how to start their crochet journey! This class is open to students who are ages 13 and up.

Prerequisites:

Know how to chain, single crochet, and double crochet. Here is a great video to walk you through how to double crochet. This is a great class to take after our Introduction to Crochet Class!

Shelly Diaz is a fiber artist and owner of Daisy Stitch Co, where she creates and curates beautiful hand-dyed yarn! She lives in Denton, Texas with her husband and 2 dogs, Daisy and Maggie. She is the proud mom to two grown kids and loves to spend her time outdoors, going for dog walks, enjoying bike rides, or getting lost in a good book. She is incredibly passionate about all things yarn and has been crocheting for many years.
