In this workshop, students will learn how to take their instant film photography to the next level and create a Polaroid emulsion lift! Local instant film aficionados Lora O'Shaughnessy and John Eric Munoz will walk you through the process of taking your photo, creating up to two Polaroid emulsion lifts, and transferring them to watercolor paper. Take a photo on our Polaroid camera, or choose one from your phone! All materials will be provided.

During this workshop, students will learn the art of hand-building with clay as we guide you through the process of creating your very own ceramic cup. Local professional ceramicist, Diana Barns, will guide you through the process of creating a clay slab, adding personalized surface designs of your choice, and construction. Diana will also walk students through customizing their pieces as desired with a wide variety of stamp and texture options, leading to a design that is truly one of a kind!
After the workshop, Diana will fire your piece and glaze it with a signature satin white glaze. Your finished mug will be ready for pickup 3-4 weeks after the workshop. Learn the art of block printing in this fun workshop! Block printing is the process of making a stamp from scratch and printing on textiles and paper. Join us as we learn a Japanese 4 needle stitch while creating a beautiful paper journal. 4 needles are used simultaneously with a simple crisscross stitch to form the binding of this elegant book. The binding is exposed, making each material choice is an opportunity to add visual interest to the book. This book style opens fully and lays flat.
