In this workshop, we will create beautiful artwork with natural pressed flowers. Our instructor will demonstrate the process of pressing your own flowers step by step and share helpful tips and tricks to achieve the best results. Then, you’ll create your own 8×10 art piece using real pressed flowers. All materials will be provided, including a rainbow of natural blooms to work with.

This class is open to ages 13 and up.

Meet Your Instructor:
This workshop is taught by Savannah of Savvie Studio. Savannah is a maker and art educator who is living and learning in Denton, Texas. She received her BFA from the University of North Texas in Visual Art Education Studies. Savannah is passionate about sharing art-making practices with others, as she believes that working creatively with one’s hands is a therapeutic and empowering act. When Savannah isn’t working in her studio or teaching a workshop, she can often be found hiking with her three dogs or getting lost in a good book.
