Must be the season of the witch! Join us as we make a quilted witch hat, just in time for spooky season! Our amazing instructor, Lillia, will be there to walk you through the entire process!

This class teaches the following skills:

• Basic machine quilting 

• sewing straight stitch 

• Sewing in the Round 

This beginner friendly class is perfect for anyone looking to add a pop of creativity to their Halloween costume this year! All materials included. 

No machine? No problem! We’ll have machines available if needed. If you own a machine, we recommend bringing it so you can learn on your specific model.

Meet Your Instructor:
This workshop is taught by Denton's Digital Seamstress, Lillia Whittington. Lillia is a Denton-based influencer who uses her love of sewing to educate the Denton community and online audiences about sewing. She has been sewing since she was 4 years old and graduated in 2018 with her BA in Fashion Design. She has worked for Bailey's Blossoms and Haggar Clothing Co. as a technical designer, developing patterns and fits across both brands prior to COVID-19. After she was furloughed, she started blogging full-time under the name The D. Diaries. Now, Lillia has rebranded to cover her favorite topics of sustainable living and sewing on Just Lillia. Lillia is a TA at TWU in their fashion program, runs a sewing school in Denton, and can be found on the weekends with friends, family, and her husband and blind cat, Toph.
