Join us for this playful and educational workshop on Thursday, May 30th from 5:30-7:30pm.

In this workshop we will learn the art and science behind Cyanotypes, a photographic printing process that produces beautiful, one of a kind art prints! We will experiment with shape, space, and form as we create our artwork. We will also learn the history behind this foundational art making practice. All materials are provided and no experience necessary! Students will leave with at least 6 pieces of original art, new art history knowledge, and directions for future use.

Meet Your Instructor:

This workshop is taught by Savannah of Savvie Studio. Savannah is a maker and art educator who is living and learning in Denton, Texas. She received her BFA from the University of North Texas in Visual Art Education Studies. Savannah is passionate about sharing art making practices with others, as she believes that working creatively with ones hands is a therapeutic and empowering act. When Savannah isn’t working in her studio or teaching a workshop, she can often be found hiking with her two dogs, or getting lost in a good book.
