Learn the art of block printing in this fun workshop! Block printing is the process of making a stamp from scratch and printing on textiles and paper. In this workshop, every student will have the opportunity to design and cut their very own stamp and have the opportunity to practice printing on both paper and fabric. Students will go home with a printed tea towel and a set of greeting cards.

This class is for students who are 13+.

Meet Your Instructor:

This workshop is taught by Savannah of Savvie Studio. Savannah is a maker and art educator who is living and learning in Denton, Texas. She received her BFA from the University of North Texas in Visual Art Education Studies. Savannah is passionate about sharing art making practices with others, as she believes that working with ones hands is a therapeutic and empowering act. When Savannah isn’t working in her studio or teaching a workshop, she can often be found hiking with her two dogs, or getting lost in a good book.
