Join us for a fun and creative wire basket making workshop! In this class, you’ll learn to work with a versatile, paper-wrapped wire to craft unique baskets. This technique is unlike any other basket-making class we've offered before—you're in for a treat! The technique we will learn can be used for weaving many sizes of baskets, bags, and more!

These charming and functional baskets are perfect for a wide range of uses:
– Store dry kitchen goods like onions or garlic
– Hold a bottle of wine for a thoughtful hostess gift
– Keep your yarn tidy while knitting or crocheting
– Or use them for anything else you can imagine!

This workshop is open to ages 13 and up. All materials are included to make at least two baskets.

Meet Your Instructor:

This workshop is taught by Savannah of Savvie Studio. Savannah is a maker and art educator who is living and learning in Denton, Texas. She received her BFA from the University of North Texas in Visual Art Education Studies. Savannah is passionate about sharing art making practices with others, as she believes that working creatively with ones hands is a therapeutic and empowering act. When Savannah isn’t working in her studio or teaching a workshop, she can often be found hiking with her three dogs, or getting lost in a good book.
