Nurturing Your Creative Practive: A 4-Week Workshop Series
Dates: Every Tuesday in February. This is a 4 week series.
Time: 6:30-8pm
Location: 118 E McKinney St, Denton, TX.
Nurture your inner artist in this 4-week series of creative play inspired by the writings of artist and educator Corita Kent. Whether you’re a seasoned maker or someone who hasn’t picked up a paintbrush since childhood, this class offers a gentle, joyful way to reconnect with your creative spirit.
Each week introduces a new hands-on art-making practice, paired with prompts that encourage curiosity, experimentation, and play. This series is led by Savannah of Savvie Studio, who deeply believes that everyone is creative and is passionate about sharing tools to help you access your own creative self. She was introduced to the writings of Corita Kent during a season of burnout and found them to be a powerful source of inspiration.
This workshop is designed to provide welcoming, unpressured time to decompress and create without expectation. All materials are provided.
You’ll leave with:
A filled sketchbook
