Get scrappy with this easy sardine plushie class! This scrap-busting sewing project shows you how to turn fabric leftovers into a cute sardine pillow. Mix and match an array of scrap fabrics to create your own unique sardine plushie.

This project is beginner-friendly, though taking the Crash Course series or a previous sewing workshop will be helpful for working with the smaller pieces. You’ll have time to make one to two sardine pillows during the class.

All materials included. 

No machine? No problem! We’ll have machines available if needed. If you own a machine, we recommend bringing it so you can learn on your specific model.

Meet Your Instructor:
This workshop is taught by Denton's Digital Seamstress, Lillia Whittington. Lillia is a Denton-based influencer who uses her love of sewing to educate the Denton community and online audiences about sewing. She has been sewing since she was 4 years old and graduated in 2018 with her BA in Fashion Design. She has worked for Bailey's Blossoms and Haggar Clothing Co. as a technical designer, developing patterns and fits across both brands prior to COVID-19. After she was furloughed, she started blogging full-time under the name The D. Diaries. Now, Lillia has rebranded to cover her favorite topics of sustainable living and sewing on Just Lillia. Lillia is a TA at TWU in their fashion program, runs a sewing school in Denton, and can be found on the weekends with friends, family, and her husband and blind cat, Toph.
