In this workshop you’ll learn the ins and outs of instant film, shoot with new and vintage instant cameras, collaborate with other creatives, and receive critiques from instant film aficionado John Eric. We will gather at the store and then go on a walking scavenger hunt around the square, taking photos as we go. You'll leave with a handful of instant film photos and knowledge you can use to improve all forms of photography.

Meet Your Instructor:

John Eric Munoz is an instant film photographer based in Denton, TX. He has been shooting instant film for nearly a decade, and currently serves on the board of the Instant Film Society, a 501c3 arts organization dedicated to increasing awareness, accessibility, and understanding of instant film analog photography. Since 2016, the Instant Film Society has hosted PolaCon, the world's first 3-day instant film convention, held each September in Denton and Dallas, TX. John loves all things instant, and loves sharing his knowledge with others in his community.
